Wow~ two posts in one day... I need to write about our garden. We really like what we have created in our backyard though with every year it becomes more and more work. This is satisfying work but a bit frustrating when we can't get to it. I have a nice view of it right now and with a light rain falling, it looks so lush and wonderful. As cool as it has been, everything is very happy. With my current no-job situation, I don't feel as far behind like I do usually. I am even going to look on line to see how I can create a nice addition to our water feature. I'd like to add a stream to our pond! I have a feeling that my work will be on hold at least until June so if I get daring time wise and with Meg's help with design we might tackle this. I really don't want to get too excited about it as I have plenty of other projects like painting our pergola or finishing our basement or just about anything else you can name.
Wishfull thinking is what keeps us going, right???

- Stretching outside my comfort zone is a part of my life. there are certain things that make me uneasy and certain things that pose problems for me as everyone does. In the last 8 years specifically, I have looked at a problem and forced myself to Stretch in order to grow. With my wife M, I feel that things are coming together. I am a 40+ and feel not at all that old unless you count the bad feet and a constant aching in my right hand. I really feel pretty good and have hopes for comfortable later years with my wife M. I grew up in Okemos, MI. and suspect shall pass as a resident in the same town. My younger years were spent most happily in Houghton Lake at my families cottage where I forged many lasting friendships. I learned alot there but after meeting M had realized there were so many things I hadn't explored and that getting out of the norm was a necessary thing to do.
