It has been a very busy few weeks so my posts are few. I am at home in Okemos with E while M and MHM are in N.Y. visiting her family. So far E is treating me well. I have tons of stuff to do before E and I go on our own vacation Wednesday night to H.L. to visit the grandparents and cousins J and L.
Leaving M and MHM at the airport Sunday morning was hard but E did pretty well. I held MHM for most of the time and enjoyed his softness and gentle squealing. M I am sure is going to miss E very much, probably as much as I will miss MHM. Wow, it really is crazy how much something so small can have the largest impact on you. Both E and MHM are a joy to listen to, I just hope I can keep that in mind when things aren't all that calm. I read an excerpt from George Carlin who passed away this past week about aging. All he says is true and the most important thing is to not let people or situations bother you and to remember that things can always be worse. Smile and be happy for those you love and tell them!

The big twist for me is that I am the sole keeper of E for the next 5 days and hope and pray for patients and a wealth of ideas to keep this little mastermind occupied. She is incredible and full of energy so I hope I can measure up and keep her going. I hope and plan to try to stay away from TV as much as possible but know it is there when I need it.
Gotta go for now, lots to do on a "day off" and still no time to do it all.

- Stretching outside my comfort zone is a part of my life. there are certain things that make me uneasy and certain things that pose problems for me as everyone does. In the last 8 years specifically, I have looked at a problem and forced myself to Stretch in order to grow. With my wife M, I feel that things are coming together. I am a 40+ and feel not at all that old unless you count the bad feet and a constant aching in my right hand. I really feel pretty good and have hopes for comfortable later years with my wife M. I grew up in Okemos, MI. and suspect shall pass as a resident in the same town. My younger years were spent most happily in Houghton Lake at my families cottage where I forged many lasting friendships. I learned alot there but after meeting M had realized there were so many things I hadn't explored and that getting out of the norm was a necessary thing to do.
