So yes, E does have a phenomenal vocabulary and as a treat to myself, I like to throw around as many big word and phrases as I can to see where she may go with them. She always seems up to the challenge.
This morning as referenced in M's blog, I was explaining what MHM was doing in the kitchen as we were changing her diaper. MHM was whacking on a pie tin so I said that "MHM's a Pot-Whacker", E took that matter-of-factly and we went on. Minutes later, we were in the living room and she said to me "Daddy, when you get smaller, you can be a pot whacker!". M heard that from the kitchen and busted out laughing...
It is really a joy to have E so interested in speech and all its nuances. She really studies, listens and practices what she hears. Don't hold me accountable for what she says, she figures it all out on her own with any of my help...

- Stretching outside my comfort zone is a part of my life. there are certain things that make me uneasy and certain things that pose problems for me as everyone does. In the last 8 years specifically, I have looked at a problem and forced myself to Stretch in order to grow. With my wife M, I feel that things are coming together. I am a 40+ and feel not at all that old unless you count the bad feet and a constant aching in my right hand. I really feel pretty good and have hopes for comfortable later years with my wife M. I grew up in Okemos, MI. and suspect shall pass as a resident in the same town. My younger years were spent most happily in Houghton Lake at my families cottage where I forged many lasting friendships. I learned alot there but after meeting M had realized there were so many things I hadn't explored and that getting out of the norm was a necessary thing to do.
